Number One
Just imagine the worst sickness, the pain, and the fatigue. The deep fog covered all around your head that makes you to go to the hospital. Now think of having this condition everyday and knowing that going to the hospital is useless. Because the doctors will never find anything wrong and send you home without giving you the medicines. This is what fibromyalgia feels like.
Number Two
Now imagine you wake up exhausted everyday, like you haven’t slept in days. As you are lying in bed, trying to find the energy to get up from bed and go to the bathroom. While doing this, the thought “Can I make it through another day?” is all over your head. Then think that everything you do, even the smallest of the tasks, are like walking in mud trap.
Number Three
Now let’s suggest there’s a phone, there is something wrong with the charger. No matter how long you put it on charge it never gets past 50%, only if you are lucky. You put the phone on low performance mode, kill all the apps from the task manager to save the battery. But it is still of no use. It quickly drops to zero in no time. Now imagine you have a lot to do in a day and you are this phone.

You know, how you feel when you have the flu, body aches all over, everything hurts in your body. Even your hairs and nails feel like coming right off. These were the good days.

Imagine a worst flu you have ever had and combine that with the pain from falling from stairs, straight into beehive. That’s what fibromyalgia feels like.

Fibromyalgia kind of feels like fuzzy and foggy thought, and on a bad day, moving feels like walking in a think Jell-O. Doing even smallest things and normal things cause pain, and without the restful and proper sleep.

Number Nine
Sometimes after taking shower when I see my body in the mirror, I expect to see bruises everywhere. Because my body hurts and aches so bad, and that pain kind of feels like when you have scars all over your body. I wish several times that my body is bruised all over so people might take my pain seriously.

Picture yourself in a wrapped burrito by a blanket that is made from the massage chairs with balls in them. And you have no idea how many of them will be pressing on to you and where. Sometimes it’s like the deepest muscles of the body are getting punched repeatedly, like a punchbag. All the time I can not think straight. It’s like I’m suffocating from crushing under the weight and pain.

Your body feels like it was hit by a truck, and sometimes, it feels like someone is sticking needles in your body and twisting them.

The pain in fibromyalgia feels like vomiting because it’s so extreme. It’s hard to eat, sleep, think, and do any other normal things. Your senses are off, it feels like noise sounds in a cave, echoing sounds. Smells bother you much, lights hurt your eyes and you feel woozy like a carnival ride.

When you go out somewhere to eat, you constantly struggle because the seat is hurting your back. And also, you are always tired and not even a full pot of black coffee will fix that.

Fibromyalgia is like the tough day after the gym with tough workout, with stiff and sore muscles. Additionally a headache and sunburn, and a flu on top of that. In fact, the fatigue and pain feel like your blood in your veins has turned into hard rock.
