He was always a genius and since he knew in his heart that something big is about to happen. He pre planned his AI avatar to guide the avengers and especially his daughter. Moreover, we have seen in Spiderman Far from Home, EDITH, symbolizing ‘Even Dead I’m The Hero’ after the Avengers Endgame.
The holographic footage of Tony we saw at the climax of Avengers Endgame, was actually the AI avatar of Tony Stark. He was working on that alongside the Quantum Time Space GPS. Because he wasn’t just thinking about Peter at that time. He had a daughter too that he didn’t want to lose. To protect and guide her through the world of immense threats, Tony created his AI.
Tony Stark as AI Avatar
After the Avengers Endgame, one day a familiar voice broke through the silence. “Dad, can you teach me how to fly?” Morgan Stark’s eyes sparkled with innocence and determination. AI tony smiled, “Flying is about more than just the mechanics; it’s about embracing who you are.” He conjured a holographic simulation, showcasing a version of the suit she would one day wear.

Go make your own legacy.” With those words, AI Tony knew he would always be more than just an echo; he would be a guiding light.
