After Climax Series: Doctor Strange
Welcome to The Central Planet After Climax Series. In this episode we will tell you why current timeline doctor strange did not try to get back with Christine.
Doctor strange is a very powerful character with his mystical arts and magical powers. He has defeated the most powerful villains in MCU, including Dormammu and Thanos. According to the Elder, Doctor Strange is the best among other sorcerers. However, Doctor strange has a very iconic beginning with being a neurosurgeon to the master of mystical art. He had an accident which took his ability to conduct surgeries. He tried everything to heal his hands, so much so, that he lost his fortune trying.
Doctor strange loved himself more than anyone, but during his suffering, only Christine was there with him to help him through. But because of his rage and helplessness, he lost Christine. Ironically, after his accident, the only doctor who could’ve saved him was himself.
We see that Doctor strange came to know about this magical place Kamar Taj, where people heal. He is the most mindful person and he memorizes every spell there is. Also so quick that makes him the best sorcerer there is. Moreover, we see him playing around with an apple with The Eye of Agamotto in the first part. Here he was getting the knowledge of the Time Stone. We see him defeating Dormammu and Thanos using the Time Stone.
More importantly, Doctor Strange used the Time Stone to see the possible outcomes of the battle with Thanos. And he saw that only 1 out of 14 million outcomes they win. Which in reference from Infinity war and The Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness, we hear from him saying, “There was no other way”.
Why he never tried?
Christine and Doctor Strange were never together in any universe that we have seen in the multiverse of madness. But we have seen Strange from the other universe destroying his universe trying to get back Christine. Then, why our Doctor strange from the current timeline, with this much power, never tries to get Christine back?
According to the fan theories, Doctor strange using his Time Stone, saw the possibilities in future where he gets back with Christine. Just like he did in the Avengers Infinity war. This strange look into the future of him and Christine and in every possible outcome, Christine and doctor strange end up apart. He also saw that if he tries hard to get Christine back, he will destroy the universe and nothing will remain.
After 14 million possible outcomes he saw only one where Thanos is erased from existence. Imagine how many possibilities Strange had seen using Time stone for Christine. Yet he never found even one possibility where Christine ends up loving him.
The strange from this universe made peace in his mind that he can never get Christine back no matter how hard he tries. So this strange never really pursued to have Christine back with him. And happily accepted the fate of him and Christine. But after the climax of The Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, we see a very happy and satisfying closing to both characters.
Where strange tells her that he loves her in every universe. That is what the strange always wanted to say to Christine from this timeline. But never said it because she had started a new life and moved on. This conversation with Christine from the other universe gave our strange the closure he always wanted.
